Unique Multi-Zone Principle

The Metor 250 walk-through metal detector uses a unique coil system that guarantees uniform first-rate detection performance throughout the frame opening. This multi-zone technology provides excellent discrimination and a much lower false alarm rate than with conventional metal detectors. This results in a much higher throughput rate.

Multi-Zone Display

The Metor 250 has a vertical lightbar that provides a visual display that pinpoints the area(s) of alarm.

The Metor 250 provides comprehensive self-diagnostics that continuously monitors the detector’s internal circuitry, external connections, and environment.

Continuously Active

The Metor 250’s detection circuitry is continuously active. At no time is it possible to toss, pass, or slide a weapon through the system without detection.

Mobility

The unit can be easily moved to different locations.

Remote Control Unit

The remote control unit can be removed from inside the crosspiece for easy programming of the unit.

Security

The remote control unit uses password protection to eliminate any unauthorized access to the programming.

Software

Preset detection programs as specified by various security organizations as well as programs designed to detect specific metals are built into the software to provide a wide array of detection capabilities.

Options & Accessories

Remote Zone Display Unit: Remote zone display unit can operate at a distance of up to 65 m (213 ft) from the detector. It shows the position of detected items and generates an audible alarm.
Intelligent Traffic Counters: The intelligent traffic counter that increases the count in one direction and decreases the count in the opposite direction. The desired direction can be selected and the number of passengers, alarms and alarm percentage can be displayed.
Dual Zone Displays: By installing a zone display on both sides of the detector it is possible to see the alarm on the zone no matter what the walking direction.
Battery Backup System: For 2-hour runtime when no power is available.
Carrying Bag: Ideal for transportation and/or storage.
Gate Wheels Kit: For easy mobility of the metal detector in upright position.
ADA Compliant Crosspiece: 32-inch (810 mm) ADA compliant crosspieces and 28-inch (708 mm) enhanced sensitivity crosspieces. Optional crosspiece sizes are available at no additional cost when specified at the time of order.
Test Pieces: To assist in calibration and testing.
MetorNet 3 Pro: Remote Security Management System collects the statistics on traffic flows and alarm data of up to 99 Metor walk-through metal detectors and generates easy-to-read reports. It allows detector security levels to be changed from a central PC.
